On April 13, 2024, a large-scale tree-planting campaign was held in Suzak District as part of the “Zhashyl Muras” National Campaign, implemented at the initiative of President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Japarov.
During the event, a total of 1,860 apple, almond, walnut, and coniferous juniper seedlings were planted in the Barpy, Kyzyl-Tuu, and Kyz-Kol rural areas.
In Besh-Moinok village of the Barpy rural administration, 420 coniferous juniper seedlings were planted along both sides of the Osh–Bishkek highway.
At School No. 76 named after A. Matiev, located in the Kok-Bulak area of Talaa-Bulak village in the Kyzyl-Tuu rural administration, 320 seedlings of three apple varieties were planted on an area of 0.40 hectares.
In addition, 40 seedlings of three apple varieties were planted on 0.10 hectares of land at School No. 86 named after O. Muratov in Tashtak village.
In the Zhantyk and Anyz areas of Ortok village in the Kyz-Kol rural administration, the Ortok Forestry Enterprise planted 1,080 almond and walnut seedlings.
The event was attended by B. Suyunbaev, First Deputy Head of the Suzak District State Administration, G. Kambarova, Deputy Head, heads of rural administrations, as well as heads of district institutions and organizations.
Activities carried out under the “Zhashyl Muras” campaign contribute to the greening of local areas, improvement of the ecological environment, and preservation of a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations.
